BANGKOK - The United States (USA) expressed disappointment at the attitude of the Thai authorities arrested a U.S. citizen on charges of insulting the Thai royal family. U.S. Citizens were threatened with 15 years in prison.

Joe Gordon, was charged after the personal data to translate the King of Thailand Bhumibol Adulyadej and the article published on the Internet. Gordon was considered harassment of the royal family. Similarly, as reported by the Associated Press on Friday (19/08/2011).

Gordon was charged after being arrested in May for 84 days.

The 54-year-old was a descendant of Thailand, who lives in the State of Colorado, about 30 years before finally returning to their own country, Thailand.
